Dennis McGonagle, MFA is this year's judge for the High School Art Contest.
Mcgonagle is a local landscape artist and muralist. In 2006 he painted the mural on the Whittier Museum. He is also known as the artist of the Whittier phone book covers from 1987 to 1997. He has been working as a teacher and visual arts mentor in the Whittier Elementary School District for the past ten years.
